Hoops is a basketball video game originally released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1988. The game allows one or two players to compete against each other in a one-on-one basketball game. Players can choose from a variety of fictional characters, each with their own strengths and weaknesses, and must try to outscore their opponent by shooting baskets and stealing the ball. The game features basic graphics and sound effects, as was typical for NES games at the time.
