Home Alone is a series of video games based on the popular movie of the same name. The game was released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1991 and features gameplay centered around Kevin McCallister, a young boy who is left home alone during Christmas vacation and must defend his home from burglars using various traps and household items. The game has a side-scrolling platform style and includes several levels set in different parts of the house, with each level increasing in difficulty as the game progresses.
