Dash Galaxy in the Alien Asylum is a platforming and puzzle-solving game released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1990. The player controls Dash Galaxy, an astronaut who must navigate through a series of alien-infested levels to rescue his fellow astronauts and escape the alien asylum. The game features a mix of side-scrolling platforming and top-down exploration, with various obstacles and enemies to overcome. Along the way, players collect keys and other items to unlock doors and progress through the levels. Dash Galaxy also includes a password system for saving progress.
