Double Dragon II is a side-scrolling beat 'em up video game developed and published by Technos Japan. The game was originally released in 1988 for arcade systems and later ported to various home consoles, including the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). In the Japanese version of the game, there are several differences compared to the North American release, such as altered enemy placements and some graphic changes. The game follows the story of two martial artist brothers, Billy and Jimmy Lee, as they seek revenge against the Black Warriors gang who killed their friend Marian. Players must fight their way through several levels filled with enemies, using punches, kicks, and various weapons to progress towards the final boss. The game also features co-operative gameplay, allowing two players to play together and unleash powerful combo attacks.
