Super Famicom Wars is a turn-based strategy game developed by Intelligent Systems and released for the Super Famicom (the Japanese version of SNES) in 1998. It is part of the Wars series, which includes Advance Wars and Battalion Wars. In the game, players control one of several armies and must use their units to capture enemy structures or defeat all opposing units. The game features a variety of different unit types with unique strengths and weaknesses, as well as a map editor that allows players to create and share their own custom maps. Super Famicom Wars was only released in Japan and has not been officially translated into English.
