Sweet Home is a survival horror role-playing video game developed and published by Capcom for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1989. The game follows a team of five documentary filmmakers who explore a haunted mansion in search of frescoes painted by a deceased artist. Players control each member of the team as they navigate the mansion, solve puzzles, fight monsters, and discover the backstory of its former occupants. Sweet Home was one of the earliest examples of the survival horror genre and served as an inspiration for later games such as Resident Evil.
