Spy Hunter is an arcade vehicle combat action game developed by Bally Midway and published in 1983. The game is based on the James Bond films and was initially intended to carry the James Bond brand. The game aims to drive down the road in the technologically advanced "Interceptor" car and destroy numerous opposing cars using the onboard armaments. Spy Hunter was available in both sit-down and regular upright configurations, with the latter being more popular. The game's controls consist of a steering wheel shaped like a futuristic aircraft yoke with various special-purpose buttons, a two-position stick shift (with 'low' and 'high' gears), and an acceleration pedal.
