Space Invaders is a classic arcade video game first released in 1978. In the game, the player controls a small spaceship that moves horizontally across the bottom of the screen and fires at rows of descending aliens. The objective is to defeat all the aliens without being hit by their fire or allowing them to reach the bottom of the screen.
