The Last Starfighter is a 1984 video game-inspired science fiction film directed by Nick Castle. It follows the story of a teenage boy named Alex Rogen, who becomes the last hope for an alien civilization called the Rylos when he proves his skills at an arcade game are actually training him to be a starfighter in real life.
