Manic Miner is a classic platformer video game developed by Matthew Smith and released for the ZX Spectrum in 1983. In the game, the player controls miner Willy as he navigates through twenty cavernous levels filled with obstacles and enemies in order to collect all of the treasures and make it to the exit. The game is known for its challenging gameplay and unique graphics and sound effects, and is considered a classic of the 8-bit era. It was later ported to various other platforms including the Game Boy Advance.
