"The Wizard of Oz" is a video game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), based on the classic 1939 movie of the same name. The game follows the story of Dorothy, a young girl who is transported to the magical land of Oz, where she sets out on a quest to find the Wizard and return home. The game is a side-scrolling platformer that features six levels based on locations in the movie, such as Munchkinland and the Wicked Witch's castle. Players control Dorothy as she jumps over obstacles, defeats enemies with her basket, and collects items like keys and magic slippers. Along the way, she can also recruit companions like the Scarecrow and Tin Man, each with their own unique abilities.
