Splatter House is a horror-themed platform game developed by Namco in 1988 for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). The player controls protagonist Rick, a parapsychology student who must navigate through a haunted mansion filled with monsters to rescue his girlfriend Jennifer. The game features violent and gory content and was censored in some regions. Splatter House: Wanpaku Graffiti is a comedic spin-off of the original game released exclusively in Japan in 1989 for the NES.
