Rygar is a side-scrolling action game developed by Tecmo in 1986 for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). The game follows the adventures of the warrior, Rygar, as he battles his way through various enemies and obstacles to save the land of Argool from the evil forces that have taken over. The gameplay involves using Rygar's weapon, a disc called the "Diskarmor," to attack enemies and navigate the levels by swinging from hooks and platforms. Along the way, Rygar can collect power-ups and items to increase his strength and restore health.
