Golgo 13 is a series of video games based on the Japanese manga and anime series of the same name. The first game, titled "Golgo 13: Top Secret Episode," was released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in 1988. It is a side-scrolling action-adventure game where the player takes on the role of Duke Togo, a highly skilled assassin known as Golgo 13. The game features a variety of missions that involve infiltrating enemy compounds, sniping targets from long distances, and engaging in hand-to-hand combat. Later games in the series introduced more varied gameplay mechanics such as racing and puzzle-solving.
